Meet the team
Cyber · U.S. Army
Jordan
Jordan works in cyber in the U.S. Army and is a CompTIA A+ certified technician with more than seven years of field installation experience. That work has covered everything from single Ethernet drops and Wi-Fi fixes to camera systems and full network builds.
IT Specialist · U.S. Army
Justin
Justin is an IT Specialist in the U.S. Army, with hands-on experience setting up, supporting, and troubleshooting computers, networks, and the people who depend on them.
Together they started J2 Wired to give people in Columbia and the surrounding area a straightforward option for network and computer work: clear pricing, clean installs, and plain-language explanations instead of jargon.
A security-first approach
Army cyber and IT training means security is built into every job, not added at the end. Outside of client work, Jordan also runs his own security lab, studying how networks get attacked and how to defend them.
- Guest and smart-home devices kept on their own separate networks
- Modern Wi-Fi security and strong passwords, never factory defaults
- Firmware updated on routers, access points, and camera recorders
- Remote access set up through a VPN instead of open ports
How we work
- You get a price before any work starts
- Cables routed neatly, labeled, and tested
- A walkthrough at the end so you know how everything works
- Honest advice, including when you don't need new equipment
What we do
